A sculptural composition captured in pictorial form, Melusina crystallizes the disposable culture of branded consumption into a suspended moment of color and form. A crumpled Starbucks cup and its fractured lid rest on a translucent, resin-coated green surface, interrupted by spontaneous bursts of pink and gold gesture — remnants of gesture, waste, and aesthetic contradiction. This piece continues my exploration of how everyday objects often discarded can be re-contextualized into fixed narratives. Neither bas-relief nor painting, the work merges installation-like presence with wall-bound contemplation, challenging the boundary between what is consumed and what is preserved.
